Why did you make a GC Omicron, what is the design goal?
We wanted to try something new! This is a more niche omicron and targeted to players that might want some extra oomph with GCs. With five Gungans we wanted to try and give each one an Omicron that affects a different game mode, and in the lifetime of Omicrons we’d only explored four modes, up until now.
Will this make GC’s harder now that you’ve attached an Omicron to it?
GCs inherently vary in difficulty, the intent of this Omicron is to make a Gungan squad a viable alternative to completing feats that are difficult for your roster to accomplish otherwise.
Will there be Gungan Feats in GCs?
Yes, like other Factions and teams, Gungans will also receive their own GC moments
Will there be another Gungan or this be the last ?
This is the last of the marquee Gungan characters. The remaining character to complete this squad is Jar Jar Binks who can be obtained through his Legendary Journey Guide event.
"Whenever Phalanx is not damaged by an enemy", what does that even mean? Does this trigger every turn? Every enemy turn? Every time an ally is damaged?
When an enemy completes their turn and does not damage Phalanx.
Is the protection disruption looking leia mechanics? Or is that a different thing?
Protection Disruption is the debuff inflicted by Boba Fett, Scion of Jango for example. Leia’s Ambush disables Protection but that is not what is covered by this immunity.
Why shield instead of protection up? What’s the difference?
Protection Up uses Max Health as the statistic to pull from to create the temporary shield (show of hands, who didn’t know?). So for example, Protection Up (25%) creates a temporary shield based on 25% of the character’s Max Health. Shield Up uses Max Protection as the statistic. So, Shield Up (25%) creates a temporary shield based on 25% of the character’s Max Protection. With Gungans having such a small health pool we wanted to create a buff that aligned more with their statistical profile. Shield Up is treated like a buff similar to Protection Up so it can be dispelled and prevented.
Is This A Made Up Gungan?
The Grand Gungan Army is primarily made up of Militiagung, a generic term covering all sorts of specialized Gungan soldiers. For the purposes of creating a 5-person squad we broke the Militiagung into two different specialized units, the Booma-tossing Boomadier and the shield-bearing Phalanx.
How did you decide on the ability names?
We pretty much had the idea on what the abilities should do and look like, so in the end it was only the matter of how a Gungan would call those actions out
When is "Phalanx is not damaged by an enemy" checked? Every time an enemy attacks? Including assists/counters? What about mass assists, is it checked for each individual character assisting?
It is checked at the end of an enemy’s turn. If they take their turn and do not damage Phalanx then Phalanx will assist on the next other Gungan ally’s turn (along with the other benefits).
Can we get a teaser for how Jar Jar will add to the squad?

Key Attributes:- Gains Taunt when the ally Shield Generator loses multiple stacks of Plasma Shielding in a turn
- While the Shield Generator is active, Gungans are immune to Protection Disruption and gain Foresight whenever Phalanx assists
- Raise Da Shield to reflect some of the incoming damage with Retaliate and protect your allies with Shield Up
- Assists his allies when he is not damaged by the enemy
- Phalanx brings the first Omicron for Galactic Challenges. Now those pesky feats might not be as difficult.
Inspiration:- When deciding on Phalanx we looked at the Gungan's Military unit Militiagung and saw a shield which would seem to be a perfect choice for a tank in the squad.
- Both of Phalanx's special ability uses the shield in unique way one of which is deflecting incoming fire just like in the Battle of Naboo
- For Phalanx abilities we looked at unique ways Phalanx could use his shield against the enemy
Strategy Tips:- Fierce Poke can inflict Defense Down or Daze if they already have Defense Down, and also provides Protection Over Time when attacking out of turn, making it difficult to defeat his other allies.
- Heyo, Watch Out gives Phalanx Taunt and inflicts the enemy with Tenacity Down allowing for all the powerful Gungan debuffs to be applied.
- Phalanx gains Max Protection whenever he uses an ability while Taunting which increases his potential damage from Raise Da Shield.

Final Text: Deal Physical damage to all enemies and inflict Tenacity Down on them for 2 turns. If the enemies were Separatist, also inflict Provoked for 2 turns which can't be copied, dispelled, or resisted. Phalanx Taunts for 1 turn. If Phalanx was already Taunting, he recovers 20% Protection.
SPECIAL 2: Raise da Shield (CD - 4 Turns) ( Tier 4)
Final Text:
Dispel all debuffs on himself and deal Physical damage to target enemy. Deal an additional instance of damage equal to 10% of Gungan Phalanx's Max Protection. Inflict Vulnerable on all Separatist enemies for 2 turns, which can't be copied, dispelled, evaded or resisted. Gungan allies gain Shield Up (25%) for 2 turns and Phalanx gains Retaliate for 2 turns which can't be copied.

At the start of battle, Phalanx loses 75% Max Health and gains that much as Max Protection. Whenever Phalanx is not damaged by an enemy, on the next other ally Gungan's turn, that ally gains Potency Up for 1 turn, Phalanx will assist, and remove 8 stacks of recharge from the ally Shield Generator. If the ally Shield Generator loses 2 or more stacks of Plasma Shielding in a single turn Phalanx Taunts for 1 turn.
Whenever Phalanx uses an ability while Taunting he gains 2% Max Protection(stacking) for the rest of the encounter. Whenever the ally Shield Generator is destroyed, Phalanx recovers 50% Protection and Gungan allies dispel all debuffs on themselves. If there is an active ally Shield Generator, Gungans allies are immune to Protection Disruption. Whenever Phalanx assists another Gungan ally that ally receives Foresight for 1 turn.
While in Galactic Challenges
At the start of the first turn, the ally Shield Generator gains 10 stacks of Plasma Shielding; Enemies can't assist if they are targeting Phalanx; At the start of the encounter and whenever an enemy is defeated, all Gungan allies gain 100% Evasion for 1 turn; Whenever a Gungan ally uses a Special ability, for the next 2 turns all Gungan allies have +50% Offense and their Basic abilities Expose the target enemy for 1 turn; Whenever a Gungan ally inflicts Defense Down all Gungan allies gain Offense Up for 1 turn; Whenever any Gungan ally attacks of out turn they remove 20% Turn Meter from the target enemy.

WHAT IS THE PC CLIENT
Our goal with the PC Client is to give players more ways to enjoy their time on the Holotable in a seamless cross-platform experience. This will allow you to play between handheld and desktop without missing a single beat. Some initial benefits of the PC Client is the support for many native PC features such as specific resolutions, keyboard and mouse support, better framerate, antialiasing and other PC quality of life changes. The core gameplay experience of Galaxy of Heroes remains unchanged with the PC Client.
Once we are ready to showcase the client, we will be hosting a Closed Beta, which we are aiming to release later this year. For the opportunity to participate in the Closed Beta, you will need to sign up on our Closed Beta Registration Page and link your EA App to your EA Account.

Shards and how they form characters
The characters in Galaxy of Heroes require a certain amount of ‘shards’ in order to be unlocked game. Characters are unlocked at various base levels of star count, and all require a certain amount of shards to reach their maximum star count.
For this promotion, Jedi Knight Anakin unlocks at 1 star, while Darth Vader unlocks at 4. Players will receive shards and credits to allow both to be promoted to their maximum star level of 7.
Star level vs Player (and character) level
The higher the star the higher the tier of base stats.
Also certain events or features in game will require the character to be at a certain star level to be included in the squad.
Character level: this is limited by the player level and is separate from star level.
The higher the player level, the higher the possible character level, and the higher all basic character stats.
Gear level
Unlocks abilities and increases specific stats
How to promote a character
Credits are used for many different things in GoH, including leveling up characters such as Jedi Knight Anakin and Darth Vader.
Once players receives the shards and credits, from the character screen, select Jedi Knight Anakin or Darth Vader and start by unlocking the character.
After unlocking the character, the same button will say promote instead of activate. Simply press this button repeatedly to get the character to the max star level.
What happens when I purchase one $25 card and one $50 card?
Players will receive the crystals, shards, and credits for each tier (one $25 crystal bundle, one $50 crystal bundle, and double the amount of shards and credits needed to unlock Jedi Knight Anakin and Darth Vader). Please note that after activating and promoting both characters to their max star level of 7, the remainder of shards will be converted to shard shop currency, which can be used to acquire gear, items and even shards of other characters.
Please note that this promotion is limited to one redemption per card tier and per Apple ID.
What is the Shard Shop?
We implemented the shard shop in order to provide value to character shards received after getting a character to max star level.
If you have a character at max star level and earn or receive additional shards of that character, these will be converted automatically to Shard Shop currency

Les éclats et la façon dont ils forment les personnages
Pour déverrouiller les personnages dans Les Héros de la galaxie, un certain nombre d’éclats est requis. Chaque personnage est déverrouillé à un nombre d’étoiles de base variable, et une quantité donnée d’éclats est requise pour atteindre son nombre maximum d’étoiles.
Pour cette promotion, le chevalier Jedi Anakin est déverrouillé à 1 étoile, tandis que Dark Vador est déverrouillé à 4. Les joueurs et joueuses recevront des éclats et des crédits pour permettre aux deux personnages d’être promus à leur niveau maximal d’étoiles de 7.
